Spacewell, an international software company that develops applications to optimize offices around the world, is hiring a motivated Project Manager with your local office at Wilrijk (Antwerp). You are responsible for the coordination of projects in Belgium and the Netherlands. Next to that, some projects in the UK and France could also be part of your scope. Moreover, you’ve got a knack for recognizing commercial opportunities, which will allow us to build out long term relationships with our customers. Never a dull moment!

A day on the job

  • 8.45 AM: You open your laptop and schedule a meeting with a French consultant to discuss further the implementation of solutions for a client.
  • 10.00 AM: After making a coffee, you determine the scope of the implementation and organize a call with your team of skilled consultants and lead consultant.
  • 10.45 AM: You prepare a kick-off presentation to seek alignment between all your stakeholders.
  • 11.30 AM: On of your projects is in full swing, so you monitor time and budget closely.
  • Noon: Lunch time!
  • 1 PM: You keep track of a logbook of all risks and go over to action in case of large deviations.
  • 14.30 PM: You schedule an online call with your Dutch colleagues to inform them on the progress of a project.
  • 4 PM: After an update call with a customer about a running project, you discuss the open action points, progress of the projects and budget. You also discuss a potential upcoming project with the customer because you have an eye on opportunities for cross and upselling, you finish the day and head back home.

What about the team?

Once our sales colleagues come into the office with a signed deal, it’s time for you to work your magic. In this role you report to the Manager PS Onboarding Workplace and/ or Manager Business Solutions. You keep a helicopter view over the implementation of our solutions. You monitor requirements and resources carefully. “Proactive communication” is the name of the game. Consequently, you are a master in management of expectations, both internally and externally.

Could this be you?

  • You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • You live in Belgium and like to work in an international context.oh
  • You are an expert in “all things management”, such as time management, budget management and people management.
  • You have exceptional pro-active communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You have a sixth sense when it comes to escalating (potential) issues.
  • Your colleagues would describe you as stress resistant and great at prioritization.
  • Vous êtes parfaitement trilingue. Vous parlez couramment le français and you switch to English in the blink of an eye. Daarnaast heeft ook het Nederlands geen geheimen voor je. Alle drie de talen in woord en geschrift.
  • You can deal with different cultures such as Belgian and Dutch.
  • You are: a people person, empathetic, great listening skills, organized decisive, results-oriented and a team player.
