The Opportunity
We are Looking for an Account Executive UK + International who will report to the Sales Director. You will play a crucial role in continuing our successful growth. With your skills, you convince potential customers of our SaaS solutions. Our solutions are suitable for a wide range of customers, including companies, landlords, government institutions and healthcare institutions. You will work closely with various departments, including Marketing, Pre-sales, Product, Professional Services, Finance, and Customer Success. The sales process is SaaS B2B, complex, enterprise-level, with extended sales cycles and medium-to-large deal sizes.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients within an international market focusing in UK and strategic regions such as the Nordics (among others). Focus on enterprise B2B SaaS solutions in energy management, sustainability, and IoT.
- Sales Execution: Drive the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and discovery to negotiation and closing, ensuring a consultative approach tailored to client needs.
- Outbound Strategies, proactively Build Your Pipeline: While we have a strong Marketing team, we cannot rely solely on inbound leads. Developing and executing outbound strategies will be a key part of your daily responsibilities.
- Market Expertise: Stay up to date with market trends, emerging technologies, and evolving regulations in the energy, sustainability, and IoT sectors to position Spacewell Energy as a trusted and innovative partner.
- Technical Collaboration: Leverage your technical background or ability to quickly learn technical concepts to communicate the value of our solutions to various stakeholders, including C-level executives, technical teams, and sustainability officers.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Relationship Building: Foster long-term relationships with partners, energy service companies (ESCOs), utilities, system integrators, and large enterprise customers looking to implement energy management solutions.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely records in the CRM system and provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts.
Key Qualifications
- Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in enterprise SaaS B2B sales, with a strong "hunter" mindset and proven track record of exceeding sales targets. A proactive approach and clear outbound strategy are essential.
- Technical Acumen: Strong technical background or ability to quickly grasp and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
- Energy Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the energy, sustainability, and/or IoT sectors.
- Market Awareness: Familiarity with new market trends, emerging technologies, and regulations affecting energy and sustainability solutions.
- Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory). Proficiency in Spanish is desirable, and knowledge of Swedish would be an additional asset.
- Customer Focus: A consultative and solution-oriented approach to understanding and addressing customer needs.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Consultative and Complex Sales: We are seeking an Account Executive with proven experience in consultative and complex sales. The role requires exceptional skills in building trust, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored solutions. A resilient mindset is essential, as you’ll navigate intricate sales cycles and adapt to challenges to achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Knowledge of energy services companies (ESCOs), utilities, or system integrators. Familiarity with energy management software or sustainability tools.
- Experience working with large enterprise customers.
- Experience working in international teams and a multicultural environment.
- While it is not a requirement, Spacewell Energy's headquarters are located in Barcelona. If the candidate is also based in Barcelona, this will be taken into consideration.
