Maintenance Planning is a software solution that is part of the product offering of Spacewell. The program helps our clients manage and maintain their real estate and technical installations. The goal for our clients is to establish a multiyear planning in a cost effective and easy manner and create insights in the technical condition of their buildings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Technical Lead and Developer

  • Design and architect scalable, efficient, and secure solutions using the Microsoft .NET framework.
  • Lead the development of applications using and oversee full SDLC processes, from planning and development to testing and deployment.
  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices and design patterns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, DevOps, QA) to deliver high-performance solutions.
  • Conduct technical reviews, provide feedback, and optimize application performance.
  • Design and implement DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOps (or Google Cloud Build)
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes, and ensure continuous integration across projects.
  • Implement cloud-based infrastructure using Azure (or GCP), focusing on scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
  • Monitor and manage production environments using logging and monitoring tools on Azure Monitor
  • Ensure secure deployment practices and compliance with cloud security standards.

As a Team Lead

  • Manage and lead a team of 5-8 developers & QA based out of Arnhem, NL and India, providing mentorship, technical direction, and motivation.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and team reviews to track progress and resolve challenges.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to encourage innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Assign tasks, set deadlines, and ensure successful project delivery within timelines and budgets.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and management to translate business requirements into technical designs.
  • Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to maintain Agile best practices.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for software architecture, technical specifications, and team processes.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging .NET and cloud technologies to enhance team skills and improve solutions.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and propose innovative solutions to improve project outcomes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience in .NET development, with at least 2 years in a team lead role.
  • Solid experience with different techniques like HTML5/CSS, Typescript, Angular, Bootstrap, ASP.NET, Net Core and Azure (Service Bus, SignalR, Blob Storage), Docker, Azure DevOps.
  • Expertise with C#, Visual Studio, Rest Services, JSON and XML, MS SQL and Entity Framework.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design, SOLID principles, and Microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure (Or GCP cloud platforms), including cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and automation.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps for managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Optional - Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
  • Optional - Knowledge of .NET MAUI is a bonus!
  • You can fluently speak and write in both Dutch and English.
  • You are a team player with a good set of communicative skills and loves to work within a high-tech environment.
  • Required to work all 5 days a week (5 days x 8 hrs), with at least 2 days/week from Arnhem office
